Hi all,
I learned that your pictures that are taken with your cell phones may have GPS data attached to them that allows hackers/creeps to track your locations that you take your pictures!
To turn off this GPS data on an iPhone:
1) Go to General
2) Privacy
3) Location services
4) TURN OFF the camera service
I'm not sure about an android phone but somewhere you will find the settings.
Stay safe!

Gone Google Story Builder
Gone Google Story Builder: This is SO cool! The kids can make a movie about their story and how they change it as they work. GREAT for showing editing, rewriting, etc.

10 days and counting! More NEW things to try!
Wow, this summer went by fast!
I just returned from my PDC in Bismarck for CTE. Okay, Professional Development Conference for Career and Tech Ed teachers :)
Here are some of my notes:
Awesome Tools To Try!
1. Doceri - it does cost $30.00 but records your presentation while you use your iPad as the control for your PC
2. Evernote Clearly - allows you to save web articles and print them without the garbage OR save them for later use! (EXTENSION for Firefox and Chrome)
3. Tagxedo - which I've taught for years but look at the invert button so you can put the words around your image instead of making it your image.
4. Padlet - add a wall and allow kids to post. Like blogging but easier with a customized web address. (not monitored though)
5. Join.me and simplemeet.me (Join.Me is limited to 10 in the free version) - Screen Sharing
6. Thinglink - add an image and add labels to be identified.
7. Dipity - timeline making website
8. Wolfram Alpha - works great for finding out facts! (Try typing in your first name)
